Clients agents
Every advisor we interviewed wanted the same thing from an AI agent, and none of them wanted it talking to their clients. This is what “clients agents” means to us, and where the line sits.

Agent, in this sense
Most products called agents go looking for new people. This one remembers the ones you have.
Search the phrase and you will meet realtor lead brands like Clients4Agents, LinkedIn outbound tools like clients.ai and developer frameworks like Cloudflare’s Agents SDK. Other Alter-named products are an AI twin or a Mac assistant. None of those is a pocket agent for an advisor who already has a book and cannot hold every promise in working memory.
Once a book passes a couple of hundred people, the risk stops being a shortage of names. It becomes a shortage of timely context. The client whose lease, renewal or family timing is real but quiet is the one who cools off. A CRM stores the household. A meeting tool captures the hour. Something has to remember after you have left the room.
That is what we mean by a clients agent, and it is what AlterContacts is. After a conversation you speak, or you let the app transcribe the appointment with the client’s okay. It files the context to the person and each morning shows you who needs attention, with the evidence. It drafts the message. It sends nothing. Every advisor we spoke to drew that line in the same place, usually within the first ten minutes: “behind me, not in front of me.”
Filed to the person. Returned with a reason.
How a pocket agent remembers your contacts
The loop is small because the job is memory. Speak once, and let the agent keep the client attached to what you said.
- 01
Speak after the meeting
Hold to talk when the call ends. The input is your own account of a client who already exists in your book. There is no sequence to configure and no list to upload.
- 02
It files it to the person
AlterContacts routes the note to the client and keeps facts, observations, promises and dates from collapsing into one generic task. The memory lives on the household.
- 03
It shows you who needs attention
Each morning: overdue promises, relationships going quiet, planning windows, each with the original reason attached. You review, edit and act. Nothing is sent for you, and nothing is recommended to the client.
A fictional loop with an existing client
Let’s see a real-life example
A review covers a routine allocation question. The detail that should come back is a business timing the advisor already promised to watch. A lead tool would never see it.
Raw advisor note
“Tomas. Allocation question sorted, no change this quarter. More useful: the warehouse lease is up in April and he wants to decide on expanding by January. I said I’d look at the cash-flow timing before then. He also mentioned Nadia’s knee surgery in October. Check in before that, but don’t treat it as a planning thing unless he brings it up.”
Structured memory
Existing client: Tomas. Decision: no allocation change this quarter. Business window: expansion decision by January, lease in April. Promise: cash-flow timing before January. Personal: Nadia’s surgery in October; check in, no planning inference. Source: post-meeting voice note.
Possible next action
Bring Tomas back before the January decision with the lease context attached, and keep the October check-in separate from anything that looks like a recommendation.
Names and circumstances are fictional. AlterContacts organises what the advisor says and makes no recommendation.
Agents, CRMs and meeting tools
Here’s a comparison table of some clients agents
If a product finds new people, captures the live meeting or runs agency workflows, it is doing something else. A clients agent, in our sense, remembers existing clients after the meeting.
| Method | Best at | What can still go missing |
|---|---|---|
| clients.ai | Outbound and acquisition workflows, including LinkedIn. | Acquisition is the opposite direction. A clients agent works the book you already have. |
| Jump | An in-meeting operating system for advisors, with live capture and CRM write-back. | Built for the hour of the meeting. AlterContacts starts when the meeting ends, or records it only when you choose. |
| Zocks | Meeting notes for advisors without a recording. | Stops at the notes. A clients agent keeps going: who needs attention, why now, and the draft. |
| Mili | Live assistance for advisors during the conversation. | In-meeting help. The remembering afterwards is left to you. |
| Kizen | An insurance agent CRM for pipeline, households and agency process. | A system of record. It holds the data and waits for you to come back to it. |
| Clients4Agents | A realtor lead brand connecting buyers with agents. | Different industry, different motion. This page is about advisors and their existing clients. |
| A pocket agent that remembers existing clients from your own spoken account, filed to the person. | It runs no outbound, sends nothing, and leaves your firm’s system of record in place. |
Memory without outbound
An agent that remembers should not start acting like an agent that sells.
A clients agent can tell you who needs attention. It should not hunt, auto-message, or dress up an inference as something the client said. AlterContacts works from what you provide, keeps the evidence attached, and leaves the move with you.
- 01Existing clients only. No lead engine, no outbound sequences.
- 02No bot in your meetings unless you press record, and no messages sent on your behalf.
- 03AlterContacts organises what you say. It gives no financial or insurance advice and is not a compliance record.
- 04Your data stays yours: isolated per client, never used to train the AI layer, deleted in full on request.
Questions advisors ask
Practical answers, without the product fog.
01What does clients agents mean on this page?
An AI agent for the clients you already have. After a conversation you speak, it files the context to the person, and it shows you who needs attention and why. It is built for retention and referrals, and it finds nobody new.
02Is this Clients4Agents or clients.ai?
No. Clients4Agents is a realtor lead brand and clients.ai is an outbound tool. AlterContacts is for advisors, brokers and consultants with an established book to remember.
03How is a pocket agent different from Jump, Zocks, or Mili?
Those work inside the meeting: a live operating system, meeting notes, live assistance. AlterContacts works after it, from your own account, and only records the appointment when you and the client choose that. Then it keeps the follow-up alive.
04Does the agent contact clients for me?
No. It drafts and explains why. You choose timing, channel and wording, and you send it yourself.
05Is this an insurance Agent CRM?
No. Tools like Kizen hold the agency pipeline and process, and AlterContacts sits beside them. It remembers conversations and brings back who needs you, with the reason attached.
