Terms of Service

(ü)ALTER is an AI Agent platform operated by SENSEBEING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. that enables independent service professionals to create AI agents trained on their own methodology and service processes. The platform allows you to deploy these agents to interact with your clients on your behalf. The Service includes our website and our mobile applications (including the Alter Contacts iOS app distributed on the Apple App Store).

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. By using (ü)ALTER, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@sensebeing.ai of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain full ownership of all content, methodologies, frameworks, and materials you upload to (ü)ALTER ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant SENSEBEING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process and use Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and providing the (ü)ALTER service to you.

You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, does not contain unlawful material, and that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license.

You agree not to use (ü)ALTER to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Provide medical, legal, or financial advice in a regulated capacity without appropriate licensing
• Deceive or mislead your clients in a material way
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malware
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit the (ü)ALTER platform
• Use (ü)ALTER in any way that could harm minors

(ü)ALTER is offered on a subscription basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. All fees are stated in the applicable currency at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment processing: All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles and stores your payment credentials directly. Your relationship with Stripe is governed by Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

Billing disclosure: You will receive an emailed receipt at subscription start and after every successful renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we will email you during up to 3 retry attempts; if payment still fails after 7 days, your subscription may be suspended.

(ü)ALTER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SENSEBEING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved through its use.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENSEBEING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

When you deploy an (ü)ALTER AI Agent to interact with your clients, you remain responsible for the quality and accuracy of the service delivered by that agent. You must ensure your clients understand they may be interacting with an AI system. You are solely responsible for any advice, recommendations, or services delivered to your clients through (ü)ALTER.

You may cancel and delete your account at any time — in the mobile app via Settings › Account › Delete Account, or through your account settings and by emailing support@sensebeing.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access to (ü)ALTER immediately if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your uploaded content within 30 days before it is deleted from our systems.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.

If you download or use our iOS app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and, for that app, prevail in the event of any conflict with these Terms:

• These Terms are between you and SENSEBEING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple grants you a license to use the app only on Apple-branded devices you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules; this license is non-transferable.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app (including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, and claims that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights).
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of (ü)ALTER after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
