Refund Policy

Summary: New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment if they have not made substantial use of the platform. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable.

1. New Subscriber Cooling-Off Period

If you are a first-time subscriber to (ü)ALTER, you may request a full refund of your initial subscription payment within 7 calendar days of the payment date, provided that:

  • You have not deployed an AI Agent that has conducted more than 10 client interactions
  • You have not exported or downloaded data from the platform
  • You submit your refund request to support@sensebeing.ai within the 7-day window

2. Renewals and Subsequent Billing Cycles

Subscription renewals are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period. We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to (ü)ALTER until that date.

4. Service Outages and Platform Failures

If (ü)ALTER experiences a significant service outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevents you from using the core features of the platform, you may be eligible for a pro-rated credit applied to your next billing cycle. Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Credits are not issued for outages caused by planned maintenance (with prior notice) or factors outside our reasonable control.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@sensebeing.ai with:

  • Subject line: "Refund Request — [your registered email]"
  • Your account email address
  • The date of your payment
  • A brief reason for your request (optional, but helpful)

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to grant refunds outside this policy on a discretionary basis in cases of genuine hardship or where required by applicable consumer protection law. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please contact us and explain your circumstances.
