About AlterContacts
AlterContacts is a voice-first pocket agent for advisors, brokers and consultants whose client book has outgrown what memory holds. You talk after a conversation; it keeps track of what was said, and shows you who needs attention today.
Where this started
“I do a bi-weekly scroll of my WhatsApp to see anything I missed out. And I still miss out stuff — at my level.”
That is a senior advisor with a full book, describing his actual system. We heard a version of it in every one of the eleven advisor interviews behind this product. Nobody described forgetting a client. They described losing track of them — which is a different problem, and one software can carry.
A pocket agent, not another database to maintain.
AlterContacts is an iPhone app for professionals whose business runs on long-term client relationships. After a call or a meeting you talk for thirty seconds in your own words. It files what you said under the right client, keeps that profile current, and each morning shows you who needs attention and why.
It works on the book you already have. It does not join meetings or listen to calls; a transcript is an input, not the product. Where a notetaker stops at the transcript, AlterContacts carries it into the client’s record and hands it back when that relationship needs you.
Every suggested follow-up is a draft. You review it and you send it — the app never contacts a client on your behalf. It sits alongside whatever system of record your firm requires rather than replacing it, and it works from what you supply or connect, not from anything it goes looking for.
We built it after interviewing eleven Singapore financial advisors and reading several hundred posts from advisors elsewhere. The pattern was consistent: capable people with real books, a WhatsApp thread doing the job of a memory, and a fortnightly scroll to catch what slipped. Capture was never the hard part. Knowing who needs you today, and why, was.

What it deliberately does not do

AlterContacts organizes context that you supply or connect, and leaves every decision with you.

- 02It does not contact clients. Suggested follow-ups stay drafts until you send them.
- 03It does not join or record meetings. Notes are yours, spoken after the fact.
- 04It does not give financial or insurance advice, and it is not a compliance guarantee.
- 05It works from first-party data — what you say, and the sources you connect. It does not go hunting for information about your clients.

02Who is it for?
Wealth and financial advisors, insurance brokers, consultants and other professionals with an established book — the point where retention and referrals matter more than cold acquisition, and the client count has passed what anyone can hold in their head.
03Is it a CRM?
No. It sits alongside whatever system of record you already use. A CRM stores fields you have to maintain; AlterContacts keeps the reason attached to the reminder so the next conversation continues rather than restarts.
04Does it record my meetings?
No. Nothing joins your calls and nothing listens in. You speak afterwards, in your own words. If you already use a notetaker, its transcript can be an input — AlterContacts picks up where that stops.
05Who builds it?

06Why do I see both AlterContacts and Alter Contacts?
AlterContacts, one word, is the name. The App Store lists it as Alter Contacts: Client Notes because Apple splits search terms on spaces. Both refer to the same product.
07Are you related to AlterContacts.org?
No. AlterContacts.org is an unrelated Netherlands-based sustainability organization. Different owners, different purpose, no affiliation.
08How do I get access?
AlterContacts is in private access while we work with a small group of advisors shaping it. Request access through the Pioneer programme on this site and we review each request.
